She is officially a walker! She has been walking everywhere! It is so much fun to see her in action. Here is a video of her walking like champ. (She is usually walking faster, with no stops. She was a little distracted.)

Just a quick update. Korbyn is 10 months old now and WALKING! It is so exciting!! She is super loving these days. She says "uh oh" now...along with her new favorite word"S#*T".

Korbyn has not been feeling well at all these past 2 days. She was running sky rocket high temps. and just not herself. She is cutting SIX teeth at once! She will go from four to ten. She also has a small ear infection (caused from the teething) at the same time. It is no fun, but we cannot wait to see that toothy smile!

Also, we would like to congratulate Erin and Aaron on their new home!! We are so excited for you two!!

She will hold anything over her head ( like a stuffed animal, blanket, curtain, and a paper towel just to name a few) and hold it and hold it then throw it down really fast. Korbyn had an art session the other day. She would much rather eat the markers. She soon got the hang of things and colored away...on everything, including herself! She now tries to color with everything. One day she tried to color a dvd box with the end of her hair brush. Bless her little heart. This girl just may end up a famous artist! Great thing these markers are NON-TOXIC!

Korbyn has a new obsession...talking on the phone! She has a few "play" phones around the house. She loves to pretend she is talking to someone. She will hold the phone up to her ear (sometimes it is her neck and it is always crooked and/or backwards) and just gabs away and fake laughs. She will say her goodbyes and throw the phone. It really is a passion of hers right now. I can see it now..."Mommy and Daddy, I need a cell phone!". Yikes!

My love (my little love,Korbyn) has her fourth tooth! Pretty exciting stuff! Today we went for a swim at the Eldon pool. It has a great kid/baby section. I loved it...Korbyn, on the other hand, was not a huge fan. I think she was tired and very over whelmed by all the running/splashing children. We will try some other time. She had her first hot dog today and also tried grapes for the first time. Loved both of them!

Korbyn is NINE MONTHS old!!

Can you believe??? I know, it is very hard for me to. And yes, I know, I say that every month! Time does fly, but until you experience your child growing right before your eyes, you don't understand just how fast it really does. These past nine months have been the BEST, hardest, most amazing months in my whole entire life! I can't speak for Sam, but I am pretty sure he feels the exact same way. She has learned so much in such little time. So, I am sure I will be adding to the list below as I think of more things!

Korbyn at nine months...

* is miss personality, but I am sure that everyone who has ever met her (or seen pictures) already knows that!
* is hilarious!! This girl just gets funnier and funnier as everyday passes.
* is so much FUN! The stage she is at right now, so incredibly fun!
* is one curious babe. Wants to know EVERYTHING about EVERYTHING!
* is going through the "open and close" phase.
* weighs 20 pounds and 7 ounces... Holy big baby!!!
* is 28 1/2 inches long.
* is in the 75th percentile for just about everything right now.
* is in size 3 diapers.
* can stand on her own
* has her THIRD tooth.
* is back in her kissing phase...yay!!! Love this
* walks like a pro with her walker/pusher!
* mocks all the time.
* can throw a mean fit! She throws herself down, kicks, screams, and cries...it is awesome (sarcasm)!
* wears size 12 months.
* points at everything, all day long.
* is officially able to enjoy all table food! She enjoys table food...very much!
* has slept through the night a few times lately.
* has a skin condition called Keratosis pilaris... It is just basically bumps on her legs, arms and cheeks. It will most likely be gone by her toddler years but may itch at times. There is nothing we can really do. Also, it goes hand and hand with allergies. yikes!
* is going to try Good Start 2.
* never sits still. Always on the go!
* is absolutely AMAZING!

So this is really late. Sorry, Ayden! Mr. Ayden turned 4!! This little man had an awesome birthday party for family and friends on Sunday. They put out the bounce house, the pool, and even a tent!

I just cannot believe my eyes when I see this little man and who he has become. He is so smart,quick, fun and I don't even think I need to mention how HANDSOME he is!! We love you so much, Ayden!!

Last Saturday was a great day for sure. We had a surpirse birthday party for Sam's 19th birthday. It was so much fun to plan but super hard to be sneaky! We had family, friends, cake, gifts, a baby pool, food, drinks and so much more!! Thank you to everyone who helped!!

Miss ruffle butt went for a swim...in her very own pool! I thought I was getting a steal for buying a pool for $4! But the pool literally was a baby pool, meant for only one babe at a time. Although, I cannot complain, it is perfect for Korbyn!! She was a little hesitant at first. I think she thought it was weird to be taking a bath outside...So, yes... she made me get in with her. Then she was totally into the pool party! She splashed her little self away! So much fun to watch. She is, for sure, a brave soul. She likes to crawl in her pool and stand up in it as well. Sheesh! Thank goodness for the itty bitty (safe) pool!

Her new thing, is trying to fit things into other things. The other day she was trying to force a paci into her bears mouth, so cute!!

Zachary Paul Kueffer graduated on Sunday with his class of 2010. We are so proud of him!! The gym was HOTTT!! Poor Korbyn was bright red! We just could not handle it in that gym.

So we headed to the commons to watch the ceremony on the TV. Korbyn quickly became irritated and needed a nap...BAD!

So... we had to leave to get the little missy to sleep so she could make the graduation party! BUT.. we were BLOCKED in! Ahh, a nightmare. So we strapped Korb in the car seat and blasted the AC while she peacefully slept (after she got to pretend like she was driving the car, of course!). The ignorant people who blocked us in did not leave until the ceremnoy was over. So we sat there for a good 45 mins. The guy who blocked us in finally came out. My dad had told him that we had a baby in the car who was not feeling well and that we needed to leave earlier. Guess what that man's response was... "I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT IT"... Yeah, he said that... HOW RUDE!!

So off to the grad party at grannies we went! I am sad that I did not get a pic with Zac, but at least we got some cute family ones!!

Our Love at 8 Months

Korbyn has learned so much within these past 4 weeks. We are some proud, proud parents!

Korbyn at 8 months...

-says BABA, MAMA, and pretty sure she says HI. And today she said DADA!!
- is a CRAWLER, she started less than a week after she turned 7 months.
- is still in size 3 diapers and size 2 shoe.
- can now pull herself up on ANYTHING! She started this right about the same time as crawling.
- is on 3rd foods.
- loves puffs and yogurt melts.
- is really enjoying Baby Einstien and Finding Nemo.
- lovin' her doggie, Auggie.
- wear size 9 months to 12 months clothes.
- roughly weighs 20-22 pounds.
- can wave HI and BYE and sometimes she will just randomly wave at you.
- can locate mommy's NOSE and MOUTH.
- gives kisses (leans in with her mouth wide open, and smiles after she kisses you).
- has stood on her own, only for a few seconds, but wants to all the time.
- is really itchin' to walk!
- can climb the stair from the laundry room to the kitchen.
- still has a tiny, tiny bald spot...slowly growing in.
- looks as if she has blonde hair growing in.
- can eat table food (mac n cheese, green beans, and mash potatoes) very well.
- loves sippy cups, no matter what is in them. (she even enjoyed Ava's cup full of chocolate milk).
- can clap (ends up looking like she is trying to get dirt off of her hands, still counts though!)
- dances (jump,jump,jump,jump)

Today we got to hang out with Alec, while Kim was at a bridal shower. He really is such a sweet boy and listens very well! I thinked he enjoyed our hang out time!

He and Korbyn got to spend some quality time together.

Pretty sure Al just got done kissing her in this photo below. He was kissing on her the whole time! (until she stole his bowl, then I think he was not too happy with her.)

They ate puffs together and stuck out their tongues! Meanwhile, Auggie was just hangin' out!

Auggie and Korbyn are total BFFs now. She will lean in for kisses and he gives them to her everytime she does. Auggie is the best little dog we could have asked for. He is so good with Korbyn and she is loving him! They are total Partners In Crime, that is for sure. Tonight, it was a team effort to try and open the Puffs

(which they BOTH love).

UPDATE... His name is Auggie!!

New things have been happening around here. As you can tell, we have a new BLOG!! Yay! I am loving it! We also have a new addition to the family. The name is undecided. He is a Shiba Inu and such a sweet little guy. We could not have asked for a more perfect little brother (furry, four legged type of brother)for Korbyn. She LOVES him. He kind of pounced on her earlier and really ticked her off, but I am sure she will be over it by morning time.

SEVEN Months, Baby!!

Our little (not so little anymore) Princess is seven months old. I was too tired (ate waaayyy too much and spent some time outdoors) to blog on her actual seven month birthday, which was the other day. Over half a year old now... just simply crazy! Korbyn has learned so much and is doing TONS of things that she never has before. The best thing in life, I must say, is to see my little girl doing something new everyday! She is such a STRONG, smart, happy baby!

Korbyn...
- has TWO teeth (bottom ones).
- loves to stand at her crib.
- is so proud of herself when she does something new.
- loves it when people clap and cheer for her!
- is totally mobile!! She is army crawling and pushing off with her feet, and rocks on her hands and knees!
- says bababababa A LOT.
- is obsessed with her own voice. Loves to talk.
- is so close to pulling her self up.
- is in size 3 diapers
- is wearing some (big) 6 months clothes and 9 months outfits.
- roughly weighs 18 or 19 pounds.
- is eating 2nd foods.
- likes to munch on Gerber Puffs (banana).
- wakes up 1-3 times in the night, drinks a few ounces then back to sleep she goes.
- enjoys walking in her walker, especially OUTSIDE!
- likes stroller rides and still loves her carseat.
- wears a size 2 shoe... soon to be size 3.
- strating to wave with her hand (although she doesn't know what it means)
- loves sleeping with mommy's favorite pillow (mommy actually used that pillow in the hospital when Korb was born)
- sometimes sleeps with her butt in the air... pretty funny stuff when you see it!
- still loves her saucer.
- is SUPER squirmy.
- very rarely uses a binky.
- likes reading books.
- enjoys drinking juice out of a CUP!
- "fake" smiles (this is what Sam calls it) ALL the time.

Korbyn has been learning more and more every day! Today, she walked forward in her walker and ate puffs for the first time! She crawls in her own way (the army crawl, if you will), but last night she started rocking back and forth on her hands and knees. She is just amazing us every second of every day!! We are in for it! This girl is way smarter and so much more strong than we give her little self credit for! Go Korbyn!! OH, and she can now wear a ponytail,YAY!

Korbyn (and our family) is so blessed to be able to enjoy time with her GREAT grandparents. Many children never get the opportunity to even meet them. I guess that is one of the many positives of having Korbyn at such a young age. She has some of the most amazing great grandparents a kid could ever ask for!!

We had a ton of fun Easter weekend. We all went to Kansas City to celebrate Erin and Aaron's big day! They had a beautiful wedding! We love you Erin and Aaron and hope that you are having a great time on your honeymoon!!

On our way back home, we stopped by to see my mom and step family. It was such a gorgeous day! We spent a couple of hours at the park. It was very eventful!!

That this little girl is STANDING?!?!? She has been doing so much lately! It is just so hard to believe. She rolls in ALL directions, to get whatever she wants, or thinks she needs. She stands if she is propped up. She talks a lot. Still does her raspberries. Has ate applesauce, bananas, peaches, squash, carrots, sweet potatoes, peas, and green beans. She is about to start on 2nd foods! She has more personality than ever, and is so so so LOVING. We could have never asked for a better daughter. She is THE BEST!

Korbyn has tried a sippy cup for the first time the other night! She really had no idea what to think about it. She loved chewing on it though. After a little work at it, she finally took a few real sips! Not too bad. We are going to try it again today. She gets 2 ounces of milk in it for lunch to start practicing.

SICK Raspberries

I am sitting at home, not feeling all that well. I have had a fever for over 24 hours now with a throat so sore I can barely stand it! Went to Urgent Care today and got a Z pack. Hoping to feel better by the morning!! I at least hope that I am better, because there is a shower to be had on sunday, a Bridal shower for the BEAUTIFUL Erin Clark, that I have been looking forward to for awhile! Korbyn is not feeling well either. She had her 6 month well check up today and got THREE shots! Not a happy Camper. But hoping she feels better by the morning as well. We would love to go visit Grandma Pat! If you are reading this Grandma, we love you and hope to see you soon! Hang in there!

So, as you can see, the blog has a new look. Hope you like it! It is fairly BRIGHT, so if anyone has trouble reading it, just leave me a comment and I would be more than happy to change it!!

Getting back on track... Korbyn's appointment went GREAT (other than the shots and her mommy not feeling so hot)! She is right on track. She is a very healthy little girl. Weighing 17 pounds and 5 ounces, puts her in the 75th percentile! She is in the same percentile for weight as well. I hope I can get around to taking some pictures here soon for her belated 6 month post coming soon. But until then, Mommy and Daddy present to you, the Wonderful, Beautiful Miss Korbyn blowing her famous raspberries!!! Note: her mocking my cousin, Zach, at the end of the video! It is so hard to take her serious when she gets mad like this.

Happy Half Birthday to our little princess! Cannot believe she is half way to a year old! Where has time gone?? There will be a full 6 months post later, there is just no time for it right now :(. BUT... I can tell you all, that Korb has 2 bottom teeth coming in!!! They have already cut through the gum and you can actually see them and feel them!! Very sharp though. So bittersweet. Now that she will have teeth, she won't be as much of a little baby...

This weekend was very eventful and a lot of fun! We traveled to St.Louis to attened Sam's uncle Randy's wedding events. The wedding was spectacular!!!! Most of our pictures are on Aunt Karen's camera, but we do have FUN pictures. Sam and I went to the City Museum. We had a blast and acted like children. This place is awesome!

You can literally climb throughout the whole entire building...oh! and the outside too!AHHH! It was kind of scary at times...Yes...That is indeed a school bus...on the ROOF. Very neat artifacts...And yes... that would be a huge boulder hanging in the air. If you look close, you can see that the whole bottom level was all mosaic. So cool!The animal sections was a favorite. There were a million things to see!

So sorry... I have been slackin' BIG time! Here are a few pictures on what you have been missing out on.

So many new things for Miss Korb! She is totally sitting on her own now...Big girl! She is not yet crawling, but rolling to what she wants. She is constantly doing raspberries with her mouth (even when she is mad! Video to come later.) She is eating baby food now. So far she loves bananas and sweet potatoes. She is such a joy and is always causing laughter, and even cute when she drools (as you can see from the pictures)!

FOURTH Time Is A Charm??

We went to the doctor Friday. Korbyn has been having tummy problems due to her soy formula. She is now going to try Good Start... this will be her fourth different formula. We are crossing our fingers that this will work with her. Her poor belly needs a break. She also has a tiny ear infection in her right ear and is on antibiotics for ten days. She is such a trooper and is still the happiest baby I have ever met, even amongst all her issues. See it for yourself. When I said she loved screaming in excitement...I meant it. The videos below prove my point. Hilarious little girl!!

Our little girl is 5 months old today! Cannot believe it has already been that long since we welcomed her into this world. We love you, Korbyn!

Korbyn at 5 Months...

We Are Home

We are back home from Kansas, safe and sound. I am so glad we were able to go see granny, for what will most likely be the last time. She did not look like herself at all and was almost unrecognizeable. It was so hard to see her like that, but I am just so thankful that I got to kiss her and hold her hand one last time. She squeezed my hand as hard as she coould and brought it up to her face to try and kiss it. After that, she just held my hand next to her face. She is such a strong, strong woman. She is hanging in there, but no one knows for how much longer.It was hard to say goodbye... But I know I will see her again one day. I Love you, Granny...

Erin and Aaron were kind enough to let our little family stay at their home (and might I add, a very cute home). It was the first time I had seen Erin's place... I know, hard to believe, right?!We can't thank you enough!

We are back home now. Very bittersweet. We love being home and sleeping in our King size bed, but it is very very quiet around here. We miss Grammy, Grampy (I think this is the name!) and our little siblings a lot! But we will be visiting very soon. We love you all and we can not thank you enough for letting us stay!!

Everyone please pray for my Great Grandma Mittie. She had a stroke Tuesday night and is not in good condition. Sam and I will be on our way to De Soto, Kansas in the A.M if weather permits, to see her.

Why can I not sleep? Lately, I just have not been able to sleep. I can lay in bed for hours and still not be tired. Tonight, it may be because I drank a pepsi earlier. I have cut caffiene out due to the fact that I get bad bladder infections....OK, I am starting to tell my whole life story and getting way off subject! Anyway, I am not sure why the reason is that I cannot sleep... but whatever it is, I don't like it!!

We are staying with Grammy and Grandpa Shandon for a little while. We cannot use the water at our house. There is a clog in the pipe or it is possibly collapsed (let's hope not). A plumber is going to do some diggin' Wednesday to find out what exactly is going on. Until then, NO water for our house. :(

Staying with our family is pretty nice, though! We miss them so we enjoy visiting with them. It is busy around here, but so much FUN!! Grammy got to hear Korbyn's very infectious laugh today (SO CUTE), but of course, as soon as the camera came out, she stopped. Pictures coming...We can't thank them enough for letting us stay. But we will hopefully be out of their hair soon. Know more on Wednesday!

Changes

I cannot believe how much our little girl has changed and how much she has grown. She is still as tiny as ever, but not near as little as what she used to be. I have put all her newborn clothes away and as I did, I just stared at them, trying to remember her being that tiny. I can't, for the life of me, remember how that tiny little body felt in my arms. Thank goodness we have TONS of pictures!That Paci was so HUGE on her!

She still has those crazy toes :)

My beautiful niece turns ONE today!

She is such an amazing little girl. She is so smart, and absolutely the sweetest, most loving, and spunky little toddler!

She adores her BFF, Korbyn. She loves to poke at her. LOL!

Marley had a cupcake/princess party on the 23rd. She had a lot of fun! She had her very own cake, ofcourse!

Dear Uncle Aaron, I cannot wait to meet you! I have waited my whole entire life!! I just know you are going to LOVE me and think that I am really someone speacial (because I am!). You just wait and see!

You and Auntie Erin will want to take me home with you and buy me lots and lots of toys...but you just simply can't, my mommy and daddy would miss me wayyy too much (but I am positive that they won't decline the toys!). So instead, we all just have to promise eachother that we will visit... often!!

Cheese Please!!

Miss Korbyn is teething... So we gave her some cold, un-opened CHEESE! She loved chewing on it, after she kind of figured it out. I think she prefers the cheese over her toys that are actually made for teething. Hey, whatever makes the girl happy! :)

Daddy tried teaching Korbyn to suck her thumb when she was a newborn(because she could not sleep with out a paci and would lose it). She was not a big fan then. She has just recently started and can't seem to get enough! Cute!

No Sleep

I am not used to this no sleep thing. Korbyn used to sleep all through the night. It was amazing! Her transition to soy formula has been rough on her. She was awake a lot last night because her poor belly hurt. She would wake up and cry and "pass gas". I feel so bad for our baby girl. But I know this will pass, the same thing happened when we transitioned her to the formula she is on now. On a happy note, we would like to thank Grammy and Grampoo-pa (Sorry Shannon, still searching for the right name, but this is all that has been said lately) for the very yummy dinner last night! Also, here is a picture of Korbyn with her peace sign nighty(from Auntie Nichi) on. This sleeper is Daddy's new favorite one!

Kinda ok

We tried the new rice spoon feeding last night. It went kinda ok. She hated it at first because she was straving (like usual) and wanted her bottle and bottle only!

We got some down by going back and forth. We would give her some rice then wash it down with the beloved bottle.

Then it turend out kinda ok. She was starting to get used to it. She was a mess! We took a bath, read a story, then she fell asleep within 10 mins.!! It usually takes her a good hour to fall asleep. She slept the whole night! We did not hear one peep from her!

This rice stuff is kinda ok... who am I kidding?!? This stuff is AMAZING!

Yesterday

Yesterday we saw the doctor. We love taking Korbyn to her well visits (except the shot part, makes me want to cry) We love her doctor! Yesterday she told us lots of good news! She said we have a "very healthy bambino". We can now start spoon feeding with rice! We may also start to slowly switch her to soy formula (half the cost of the one she is on now!) YAY!! Korbyn, at 4 months, weighs 14 pounds and 7 ounces and is 24 1/2 inches long. She is in the 70th percentile for height and the 75th for weight. She is getting so big!

Here is a snip it about our life. Snip it???.... is that the right phrase? Oh well, my blog, my words...right?! Anyway, I am not much of a writer at all. Never have been good at this stuff. I am the type of person that uses the google tool bar as a spellcheck! I just want to give everyone a chance to watch our baby grow into the beautiful woman I know she is going to be... but through pictures and words. I hope everyone will enjoy this as much as I will, but that may be impossible because I am going to enjoy it rather MUCH!

Sam and I dated eachother throughout high school. It was love at first sight. lol! I found out we were pregnant at age 19 and Sam was only 17, yikes! I had an awesome labor and delivery! Sam was amazing throughout the whole process. And we could not have asked for better family and friends. We love each and every one of you! We had our baby girl Korbyn on September 17, 2009. It has been rough at moments but it is the absolute best thing that has ever happened to us!
